... to show the NOTAM details.

From here we can show it on a map (the Map button is scrolled off the bottom in this example)

The route and NOTAM are displayed. Of course you can zoom and scroll the map. Let’s tap Zoom NOTAM for a close-up ...

STEP 8

Tap the NOTAM centre pin to display flight level and activity information for it.

SETUP

Tap Settings and enter your Avbrief user name and password to use NotamPlot. If you don’t have an account, tap Get An Avbrief Login to create a free (for non-commercial use) account via the Avbrief website.

So how do we create or edit routes ? ...

STEP 1

From the Filter page, select Route. If you have any routes you can select one from here, but instead let’s tap ‘Edit’. You can now either tap ‘Create New Route’ to create one or tap the route you want to edit ...

You can add or remove airfields from the route. Drag the thumb grip icons on the right of each entry up or down to reorder the airfields and user waypoints within the route. Let’s add an airfield ...

STEP 3

Type either the ICAO code or name of the airfield you’re looking for into the search box. As you type you will be offered a list of airfields to select from ...

STEP 4

From the Edit Route page (Step2) let’s add a user waypoint this time. You can give the waypoint a name and a description and enter its GPS coordinates (defaulted to your location). Alternatively, drag the pin on the map to position the waypoint.
